The Embassy of India in Yerevan is one of the several overseas Diplomatic Missions under the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The Indian Embassy in Yerevan covers not only Armenia but also neighbouring Georgia.
The objectives of the Indian Embassy in Yerevan are no different from the Indian Embassies elsewhere which are expected to serve as an institution entrusted with the task of promoting friendship and all round cooperation with the Government and People of the host country, projecting correct image of India and generating goodwill for India, and safeguarding the interests of the Indian community and people of Indian origin residing in the host country.
