Mayor of Yerevan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with Mr. Suresh Babu, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia. Stressing the high level of the Armenian-Indian relations, the Mayor praised the roles of India's Ambassador in Armenia, as well as Armenia's Ambassador to the Republic of India. Expressing gratitude for the effective cooperation and teamwork, the Mayor expressed confidence that the cooperation between the Municipality and the Embassy will continue to be constructive and successful.
"I would like to assure you that Yerevan municipality within its powers is always ready to support the activities of the Embassy. Also keeping in mind that you are completing your diplomatic mission in our country, I want to assure you, Mr. Ambassador, that the doors of Yerevan will always be open for you," said Taron Margaryan, wishing the Ambassador success in his future diplomatic mission.
Thanking for the warm reception and support to the Embassy, Dr. Suresh Babu, in his turn, expressed confidence that taking into account the current pace of developments taking place in Yerevan, a mutually beneficial cooperation can be formed between the capitals of the two countries, to which, of course, the new ambassador will also contribute.
"Mr. Mayor, for the past three years, while I had the privilege to serve as my country's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, dozens of delegations have visited Yerevan from India, and I assure you that all of them, without exception, have been pleasantly impressed by the beauty, cleanliness and comfort of Yerevan. Today, taking this opportunity, I would also like to convey my admiration to you for your grateful work of making Yerevan so beautiful, which, believe me, is an important element that will greatly contribute to shaping effective cooperation between the two countries," said Suresh Babu.
